Josephine Olok

Josephine is a Chartered Director, Chair, Non-Executive Director, Committee Chair, Board Audit and Risk Committee Member, Director and Co-Founder with fifteen years board level experience across public and private sectors with particular experience in the Fintech, Banking, Multimedia, Insurance, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas and Software industries. Her board appointments have included Britam Life Assurance, United Bank for Africa, Vision Group, Financial Service Provider Association of Uganda (FITSPA) and Uganda Manufacturers Association.
Recognised for her strong leadership, technical skills and deep knowledge in IT management, she
brings demonstrable evidence of driving business growth and efficiencies through digital
transformation and IT security risk assessment leveraging her skills in IT governance, risk and
compliance, strategy, operational resilience, policy advocacy and organisational change
management.
Josephine is currently the Co-Founder and Director of LumJo Consultants Ltd, a company established to address the gap in fit for purpose software in Uganda. She advises on software development, financial integration, data privacy, and compliance and implements solutions for clients in the financial services, manufacturing, legal, and non profit sectors.
She is a Chartered Director from the Institute of Directors London and holds corporate and IT governance qualifications. She has an MBA from the University of South Wales and an MSc in
Advanced Computing from Imperial College London. As a passionate STEM advocate and gender equity champion she volunteers her time as a mentor.
