Imran is a Data Scientist and Machine Learning Engineer at Sunbird AI,where he's deeply involved in applying AI and data science to addressdevelopment challenges in Uganda. His work includes the Data cities initiative, which supports data driven policy decisions in cities like Fort Portal and Jinja, and a collaboration with the Ministry of Energy and GIZ, where he's developing AI tools for rural electrification.

Imran holds a B.A. in Data Science from UC Berkeley, with a minor in Environmental Design & Urbanism in Developing Countries. This background gives him a unique perspective on the intersection of technology, development, and social impact.
